Just looking at some of the stats for today and there were a couple of unhappy people looking for information about high electric bills. Search strings like “national grid bill outrageous” and “huge electric bill, Massachusetts” and “electric utility gouging”. I don’t think that’s a good sign. My electric bill doesn’t arrive for another week, but looks like maybe I should steel myself against the hair raising shock. I read an article someplace yesterday that said electric bills were higher this month than usual...high demand equals higher prices. Since we’ve broken two records in the past month for high demand and use, that would suggest high bills, too. Can’t wait to see the damages. Not.
