Can't wait for Monday

After a little bit of digging around, I discovered where DomainName.com is located. I knew it was in my town, but I couldn’t find anything other than a post office box address. Now I have their physical address and I think they also run a differently named Internet dial-up service that I quite happily used some years ago. They have not been so cooperative about allowing me to transfer my domain, though, and I want some action. I’ve been fooling around with this long enough.

Soooo...I don’t suppose they can ignore me standing in the middle of their office on Monday morning. I’ll strive for charming, but I make no promises. I’m not asking them to move mountains...just asking for a teeny bit of cooperation. Well, we’ll see.

Mountains seem to have been moved as I am now in receipt of their official notice saying that my domain will be transferred by the end of the week.  And I was very nice and they were very nice and it all must have been a terrible misunderstanding. I didn’t expect them to turn on a dime and bend over backwards to be helpful, but they did. We’ll anticipate a smooth transfer now. All that is required now is the official waiting period until the transfer is completed. I *think* it’s really going to happen now. We’ll see how things stand next Monday morning. smile
