At least yours are accurate.  Ours keep predicting rain, and we don’t get it.  On the positive side, my grass is browning up nicely…

I wish we could give you some of ours. Looks as if a large portion of the country is baking to a crisp while we’re practically washing away.

..look quick, there was a glimpse (glimmer??) of sun, Oh damn you missed it..........and did you happen to hear the extended forecast?  If not, don’t, cause I don’t want to get caught in a stampede as I head for the airport!!  And no, I didn’t have plans to leave town, I don’t have plans to leave town, but I am going to do my best to make plans to leave town!!  HA!

Yes, I must have missed it. Haven’t seen anything that passed for sun yet today. Just varying degrees of cloudiness. Sometimes brighter, sometimes darker. Mostly darker. I’m going to need one of those fancy light lamps pretty soon to fend off the ooglies.

Not to beat the subject to death or anything.....but did ya notice that the long range forecast that called for rain, more rain, showers, more rain, a deluge, showers - well you get the point--has now been changed to Friday and Saturday will be halfway decent days and so on.  I swear they do that so people will go away and won’t cancel their plans!!  I swear, I do, I do!!

I’ve noticed. It’s disgusting. What did we do to deserve this? I wonder what’s going on out in the ocean...the air is thick with brine again today. And the clouds are getting progressively blacker and blacker. We’re in for it again any minute.

I want to go away. I do, I do!! Somewhere dry and sunny. Just about anyplace but here!

Can you bottle some of that?  There’s been rain in the forecast for the last four days, and I haven’t seen a drop.

I have never heard the word tropical used so many times in our weather forecasts. One would think we are tropical or something. Tropical has never been a word one associates with New England. Until now, anyway.
