Just saw the updated weather forecast. Heavy rain and showers and thunderstorms (flood warnings and wind advisories, too) through Saturday. By that time the grass will be way too high for the push mower again. We really do need a pet goat.
It really is nice not having mosquitoes around, but they also don’t show much when the weather is cool with low humidity, either. So I could settle for that. Not that we’ll get it until late September, though.
Oh this rain will stop. We will have a drought (sp?), again, the end of the summer so that the foliage will suck again this year too! Mother nature is messing with me I tell ya!
Well, drought has a nice dry sound to it, but I don’t think it’s physically possible to have one this year. Just in the last 3 weeks, we received a third of our total annual precipitation, on top of what already had fallen since January. We may well exceed our normal annual precipitation by the end of the week. This storm is supposed to dump close to 10 inches on us.
This is a nor’easter! In June! With another one on the way for the weekend. The weather is nuts.

Well damn it, it doesn’t rain very often in So Cal, and we don’t have those pesky bugs there! If I saw three in a years time I was shocked.
I want to go home, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! But if this rain is the cause of keeping them away, hummmm? Ok right now I will take the damn bugs! Remind me when I am slapping myself silly later in the season that I said that! LOL.
