Springsteen concert

Ooh, I just found a BBC Radio 2 rebroadcast of a Bruce Springsteen and the Seeger Sessions Band concert - the music from his newest album and a few other fine folk tunes. Free listening and toe tappin’ good. I found it on the Readings page—lots of other good stuff there, too. Or here’s the direct link to the concert page and BBC radio player. I’m listening to it now and it’s really, really good. I think the rebroadcast is only available until Saturday evening, so catch it while you can.

I’m a frequent listener over at the BBC and have already enjoyed the concert. Great stuff. Incidentally, I wrote about “Afterglow” (WFIU) today. If you have any affinity for jazz and the great American songbook, check out their archive.

It is strange how many streams I listen to although I have enough music for the entire millennium at home. I guess I’ll never get tired of finding new stuff.

Volkher, thanks for the “Afterglow” tip. There is a lot of enjoyment waiting in the archives and I’ve made a start tonight with the “June’s Got Rhythm”. As you said, it’s great late night music. A little candlelight, a glass of somethin’ good, and tipped back in my chair. Perfect.
