To waste, to destroy, our natural resources, to skin and exhaust the land instead of using it so as to increase its usefulness, will result in undermining, in the days of our children, the very prosperity which we ought by right to hand down to them amplified and developed. ~Theodore Roosevelt

I was looking for a new favicon tonight. You know, those tiny icons that show in your brower’s navigation address field next to a web address and on brower tabs. Somehow or other, I stumbled across the Favicon from Pics site, which allows you to make a favicon from a file on your computer. I made one out of my gravatar. In fact, an avatar-size image seems to work better than using a larger one. What a neat generator. By the way, if you’d like to use a favicon, upload your favicon image to your main directory and insert this:
<link rel="shortcut icon” href="http://your-website.com/favicon.ico" />
between the <head></head> tags on your main web page.
And, while I was at the site, I also found the Image Embellisher. This is one of the photos that I embellished—of the lad when he was six months old.
This little generator could be fun for scrapbooking or making pics for grandma or wallpaper or whatever. Seems like it could be kinda cool for a bridal pic, too.
