Appointment tomorrow

After thinking it over a little more, I finally decided to bypass the Spanish teacher during this first round. I have an appointment with the principal at 8:00AM tomorrow. He will have his computer in front of him and will be able to pull up all the Honors Spanish students’ report cards to count exactly how many received an F for their semester final exam. And we can discuss what can be done. I am assuming that, since the lad asked me to talk with the teacher and the principal, he isn’t inflating any numbers regarding his classmates who didn’t finish the exam. Nevertheless, I want to make sure and I want the principal to be the one to verify it before we carry forward. I think seeing him first is better way to get a fair resolution. We’ll see.

Lead on, McDuff!  I’ll be watching to see what the results are.

Currently I’m awaiting a call back from the 8th grade history teacher to get an explanation of WHY they are watching upwards of 2-3 movies a week in class.  Movies which they aren’t tested on, and while they might be of a vein to match the curriculum, it could explain why they are 2 chapters behind the other history teachers.

Movies are a great way to make the teacher popular with the kids. smile

It kind of sounds to me like the teacher’s lesson plans need extra attention. Like maybe...having some. I hope you get a satisfactory response and some action.
