While away the snowy hours

Here’s a numbers game that I came across on someone’s blog. I’m sorry I don’t remember whose. The game, Sudoku, is frustrating and addictive. And really lots of fun. All you have to do is be able to count from 1-9—and own a tiny bit of logic. If you’re snowed in today and don’t know what else to do with yourself, this will help. If you’re not snowed in today, well, supply your own excuse and dig in. I’d start with the February 6th game, though. It gets incrementally harder each day of the week.

It was a good day to park it on the sofa and read books and swill coffee while the snow did its thing outside. What a lovely day it was. We should have more snowstorms.

I go out of my way never to start one of those things ... I don’t want to become addicted to still another timewaster.

BTW, there’s nothing Japanese about the game except its worldwide marketing campaign.

Sudoku was quite an addiction of mine for a while.  I even downloaded the Konfabulator gadget of it just so I could have it handy on my computer.  Fun stuff.
