It was excellent. I’m going to do this more often. Maybe a pot of chili next time. I was also thinking I could probably bake a casserole on top of the stove, too, if I cover it with foil and put the dish on top of a trivet. I was surprised to find that the top of the chicken inside the stock pot was nicely browned, as if it had been in the oven. I have at least another month to experiment.
