But you know, using one’s civil liberties outside the narrow range of approved means and methods apparently is quite un-American now days. It’s liable to get you on a watch list somewhere.

Undoubtedly I am on at least one list as the phone is frequently used for overseas calls. And the computers are used to IM or email daughter’s friends in half a dozen countries. And I check out the wrong books from the library and google the wrong search terms. I’m sure I’m keeping good company though.

My google searches could raise some eyebrows if not given context. That’s the dangerous thing about snooping on people. Context matters. But my book purchases might confound ‘em. Too many Michael Ledeen books in my library.
