Oh, I flirt with the idea, but even I think I’d be mad as a hatter to get another dog. It’s true that Terry loves other dogs and she has been more animated than usual with Maggie around, but she’s starting to enjoy being the only dog, too.
Really, I think Terry and I just haven’t gotten over Peeps yet. He was such a presence that he left a huge hole in the fabric of our daily lives.
If I ever got another dog it shouldn’t be because I was trying to replace Peeps.
Nothing, nadda, not so much as a word out of my mouth!
So, are you going to the pound this weekend?
(love the new red look, by the way)
Yes, J. I may talk crazy sometimes, but I do manage to hang on to a shred of sense every now and then.
No trip to the pound today, Terrilynn. I think one cat and one dog are enough for now. Abbie has reminded me that another dog in the house is not her idea of fun. She’s all bent out of shape today. I should probably not encourage my animals to be any more neurotic than they already are.

Coincidentally, ABC is running “I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown” this evening.
