It’s not supposed to snow until November! I had no idea we were going to have snow today. I took the lad to meet the bus to his cross country meet this morning, under cloudy skies, and fifteen minutes after I came back home I looked out the window and saw this.
Even if the snow is a couple of weeks early, I still love seeing the first snowfall. The kids in the neighborhood are all excited, too. Attempts at making miniature snow men are in progress. The ground is much too warm for snow to stick for long, but it’s pretty for as long as it lasts. In another couple of months, I’ll be singing a much different tune. You can count on that.
