Cider Press Hill

Round three

Round three of the raised red welts and the mad itchies. I inadvertently brushed the backs of my hands against a laundered pile of folded shirts that I put on the dining room table. Everything in that pile had been washed with the Tide with Downy. Almost instantly the backs of my hands turned red and started to itch. Then the red spots turned into welts. And then they began traveling up my arms. Last night the same thing happened when I scooped something off the foot of my bed where I’d stacked a pile of laundry before I’d put it away. Apparently, this suggests that not only do I need to rewash everything that I laundered in the Tide with Downy, but I’m also going to have to wash everything that any of that laundry touched. This is miserable and I’m living on Benadryl. Unbelievable. I AM NOT HAPPY.

I not suffering in silence. You get to share. And I’ve also shared liberally with the Tide people.

Now I’m also wondering—how do I “disinfect” my dryer?
