Cider Press Hill

Fuel and stuff

Had to buy gasoline today.

The last time I bought fuel, on July 28, it was $2.43 for regular.

Today it was $2.50. Yeesh.

Birthday festivities are now over. We did the cake and present thing a couple of hours ago. The cake ended up with a silly inscription, which indicates how the cake turned out. The lad pointed out that imperfections are what make home made cakes so special. He laughed at what I wrote—it will remain our secret. smile

The present turned out differently than I’d written about a week or so ago—the weights and stuff. The Dad and I talked a couple of days ago and decided to split the cost on a nice digital camera. My envy factor went up several notches today. I think it was a complete hit and pretty unexpected. Lots of smiles around here.
