I have always said that since the inception of property tax, that the people never really own land, they just rent it from the government. After all, if you do not pay your tax(rent), they will evict you and sell your property in the spring.
Now its just worse. They can remove you for any reason they can conjure up.
After what happened in the 70s on the street I grew up in I wouldn’t be too worried that it would happen again in a residential neighborhood in your city. They never did raise the reservoir. And you can bet that would get through in their face pretty darn quick if they started even talking about it.
Hahaha. I bet he didn’t see this coming.

Weare, New Hampshire (PRWEB) Could a hotel be built on the land owned by Supreme Court Justice David H. Souter? A new ruling by the Supreme Court which was supported by Justice Souter himself itself might allow it. A private developer is seeking to use this very law to build a hotel on Souter’s land.
I would have exceedingly little pity for him, but somehow I suspect Souter has many more connections to influential people than the developer....
But it it were to happen...that’s what’s called karma, I think.

Yeah, I know. It appalls me to be on the same side as Scalia and Thomas, but I just don’t get this decision.
