I think it’s too humid here for pollen to blow around. It more or less settles on things in a sticky coating. You’d swear my car was yellow instead of green. And the streets are covered with yellow gunk. I think it’s the rhododendrons...there are thousands and thousands of them around here. They’re all in bloom now. But the waterfront is pretty and it’s a little cooler there. The breeze is very pleasant. Lots of people were visiting yesterday. Did you get to be one of them?
Noooooo,
I really, really wanted to, but could not get someone else to show any enthusiasm and it was one of those times I really felt like having someone come along with me. Oh well.........maybe next weekend!! I am enjoying it all vicariously through your pictures and descriptions.
PS--I think this pollen comes from the pine trees, we have lots and lots around here and you can see it blowing off them.......

Lovely!! Maybe we will take a ride up that way in a little bit.....I am assuming the blowing, dusty pollen is not nearly as bad near the water as it is here today? I am not liking this at all. Outside we are looking at everything through a yellowish haze. Very surreal and very messy!! I envy you your water view!!
OK, OK, I know I always say I am the “evil” twin (when I am with my best friend, surrogate sister, Carol), but that doesn’t mean I want my word to be fagin------and yet it is!!
