Oh sure, people may snicker about the dry heat thing, but I spent a few days in Phoenix when it was hovering around 105 degrees. It was dry heat and it was bearable. It was hot, but it wasn’t the kind of horrid sticky heat we have around here. It didn’t suck all the life out of me.
I liked their sunshine a lot, too. A whole lot.
For the love of Mike, Kate, can you do something about that lib looking rose next to my comment?
Makes me seem WAY too sensitive…
AAAAHHH! Get that Yankees Logo outta here!
/s/ Dodgers fan
Help! I am turning into a fungi.........this is disgusting and it is turning my usual cheery, perky self into a BITCH!!
You wouldn’t, trust me
My freaking word is east. Of all the damn things :shut:
Hey, how come I have a NY thingy? I did not put it there!!
That was a mean thing to do, wasn’t it? But you went and got yourself a gravatar! See? Now you don’t have to be held captive to the whims of evil blog owners. Still it was kind of funny seeing a New York Yankees logo sitting right next to your name for several hours. ;)
At least the white rose isn’t that offensive. Right?
I like your new Red Sox gravatar, by the way. Perfect fit.
I wonder if N has recovered from his shock yet? Seems he was rather taken aback in the next post down. I haven’t gone over to the dark side. Honest.
It’s still
out there. Rained and rained and rained yesterday. Like a nor’easter. Rain pounded against the house on the north side. I’m more worried about growing scales and gills than turning into a mushroom. This is just sucky, sucky, sucky.
Our sky has been exactly the same for the past couple of days. Normally that would elicit a boo hiss, but I’m not complaining this time as the rain was exactly what my newly planted seeds and bedding plants needed. Ask me again tomorrow, though. ;)
Spring rains are good. Things are certainly green around here. But this cloud and rain and cold business has been going on for the better part of three weeks now. Of course, if I wasn’t complaining about that, it would be the extreme sticky heat or the snow. I think the fair conclusion to reach is that this climate and I don’t get along at all anymore.
Ooh, Eleanor! You have a pretty new gravatar, too. I like it!
Yeah, I follow orders really well.
I know that the order issued somewhere above was intended for Steve, but I took it to heart anyway! I’ve been meaning to do this for ages, so finally got on it. I actually submitted two and I see that they think the one taken from my blog is the better option. I agree ... now!
As for the cloud thing, I’d be getting a tad peeved after three weeks of it, too. We had that kind of weather recently and it wears the spirits down big time. :(

I can’t speak for you, but as a former Tucson resident I never ever got tired of sunshine (and Hey! It’s a dry heat!).
