Excitement

Busy day today. I’m preparing the lad for his cruise next week. Gobs of summer laundry and packing to do. He will leave tonight. There’s a ton of excitement in the air and someone can’t cross the hours off quickly enough. It’s worse than waiting for Christmas!

He will be spending a lot of his cruise time with his Aunt who is about my age. She is wicked cool and told him they are going to have fun! She’ll let him push the envelope just a little bit, yet keep a guarded eye out to prevent him from going over the line. She’s a great mentor and I’m really glad she’ll be there. They really will have fun.
