Hahahahahaha! You haven’t been to Logan in a long time, I betcha. Ohmygod it is the most convoluted can of worms I’ve ever seen. Add 1000 homicidal taxi drivers, 100 city busses and a few hundred poor souls who haven’t the foggiest where the hell they’re going...and...well. It takes a good 15-20 minutes to make the entire loop around the airport, providing, of course, you’re in the right lanes to take the various arteries to the upper decks and the lower decks and to the appropriate terminals. Etc. I hate that place.
I plead lack of knowledge. Honolulu’s airport is pretty easy to circle. I don’t think I’ve ever been in Logan in my life.
I imagine just about any airport is easier to navigate than Logan. As I recall, even O’Hare is a piece of cake compared to this. Logan has been under perpetual construction since I moved here and each time is a new adventure. There are at least 3 levels to the place now, with arteries that wind all over the place. Signage is confusing at best. It’s ghastly.
No joke....I once put 25 miles on my car circling cause god forbid you should even slow down for a quick look to see if your passenger has arrived or wandering aimlessly back in forth in front of the baggage claim! And this was BEFORE 9/11! I think it was that night I informed that person that if he wanted a ride home from the airport in the future, there were limos available for just such a thing!!
Had the pleasure (??) of going to Logan a few weeks ago and once I got through the convoluted entrance--try reading signs going 50 MPH--it wasn’t too bad but yes, it still takes 15-20 to make the loop andmake the loop and make....
In my 5+ years in NH, I dreaded flying out of Logan every time I had to do it. There was one time that in my effort to get to I-93N I somehow ended up on the waterfront. How I managed to then find my way out is still a mystery.
Then there was another time that I ended up in the not-to-be-used-yet Ted Williams tunnel.
Yet another time I think I ended up on Rt 24 headed towards Gloucester.
Love Boston. Hate Logan.
LOL!! At various times I have found myself on I-93S, down by the waterfront, out by Franklin Park, parked in front of the Sumner Tunnel not wanting to be there, and lost somewhere down near the Naval Shipyard. It’s often quite an adventure getting out of Logan. Or getting home, for that matter.
What a remarkably short and lovely trip it was last night.

Credit where credit’s due. OTOH, if you had to circle the airport a few times, that section of the trip doesn’t count.
