Oh say! There’s another terrific gravatar! Very nice!
You know, these people introduce my darker side to myself nearly every day. It’s really not a nice thing to do. Salt seems rather kind considering the thoughts that run through my mind. I’m so frustrated with them that I want to play bumper cars with their vehicle. Over and over and over. Until it’s nothing but a pile of scrap metal.
And other similar thoughts. Keys, maces, baseball bats, potatoes in the tailpipe...you know. But it’s all imagination and no substance. So I simmer. And vent. And simmer.
I don’t care where they park in the summer. I don’t care where they park in the autumn. I just hate it when getting in and out of my driveway requires the precision and skill of a surgeon. I have maybe invented and perfected the six point turn.
Thanks. The gravatar is the older logo for my site. The newer one doesn’t play as well at 80x80.
Have you said anything to them about this before? Ya, silly question huh? Stupid people do stupid things, repeatedly.
Is it ok to use this for the gravatar? If not, send me some pretty links!
Hey how come it isn’t showing up? Why are these things not easy for me LOL.
Oh, they have to “rate my gravatar content” before I can use it. LOL, I really hope it is ok to use what I picked! Kate its one of the flowers from you know where lol.
Yes, very politely I have asked them to please give me some space to get in and out of my driveway during the winter. They’d only have to move their car three feet or so—if they *must* park in the road. They have watched me struggle. It doesn’t register. The snow plow driver had the car towed. I called the police department and had the car towed once this season (or was it twice?). And the car still sits as close to the end of their driveway as possible, which makes navigating mine a regular daily misery. I understand that some folks’ minds just don’t click into focus like other’s do, but at this point, I think they’d have at least figured it out from having their car towed twice this winter. At least. But no. So are they just blithely unaware of anything outside of their personal 12 inch space or what?
I think your choice of gravatar will be just perfect, Jennifer.
Oh wait...I’m not sure that it’s sized right. I think it’s longer than it is wide. Gravatars should be perfectly square. We’ll see what it looks like and go from there. I think I still have the original uncropped one. It shouldn’t be too difficult to make a square one. ;)
Re: gravatars
The proprietor hacks it down to 80x80 if you don’t submit one that’s already that size.
How about a Denver boot for the neighbors’ car?
LOL! The Denver Boot. It’s appealing!
But I want them to MOVE it. This might impede movement....
How about spikes in the street???
There you go. A cattle guard or one of those in-ground spiked fixtures that theoretically keep you from backing out of the parking lot.

Here’s an idea. Have you thought about throwing down a lot of salt in that area? If it doesn’t keep them from parking there for fear of tainting the image of the car, then it will cause lots of excessive rusting over the long haul.
Yep, the other day I was being funny, now I’m being evil again. Consistency. That’s my middle name.
