Cider Press Hill

Pray for a short memory

Terry, being a greyhound, is mostly all legs. Usually they get in her way. Instead of being all thumbs, she’s all legs. But I forget, periodically, that she can jump. Effortlessly. I’ve watched her jump up on my bed several times this morning already. It’s high off the floor. Nearly three feet. And it’s not as if Terry jumps. It’s more like levitating straight off the ground with slight sideways hitch that lands her on my bed. I think she is as surprised as I am at her skill. But I do hope she forgets all about it the next time she’s standing beside the 3 foot fence in the back yard.
