We zoomed up thirty degrees in the last two days and it feels pretty balmy today at 58 degrees. I didn’t even put on a coat this morning on my way our for my am fancy coffee.
Interesting… My car is 14 years old, and last night it started when it was 3°. Though I did notice it took an extra second to catch in starting.
Although I do drive a Subaru. (Which 14 year old American cars can’t even compare.)
At any rate, I didn’t even realize that it was common to need a jump-start on the battery in the cold. I’m not even sure what the issue there is.
We were about 5 below this morning. With a pretty brisk wind. I suspect it might be a weak battery that requires a jump start on these cold mornings. This wasn’t the first time some of the neighbors have had to get a jump start on very cold mornings.
These 48 and 58 temps make me envious. We managed to crawl to about 24° for a high today. That almost feels like a heat wave after a day of holding steady at 2°. But the rising temperature also brought us a little snow storm.
