Cider Press Hill

Thief

For the third time this month, Terry has stolen the brush I use to scrub pots and pans. It is a natural bristle brush attached to a wooden handle. Or it was. This time she pried open the cabinet door beneath the sink to get it. Once again, there are clumps of bristles all over the kitchen floor and a half chewed stick to which the bristles were once attached. Despite her guilty face, I don’t think she’d hesitate to do it again. I suppose I’ll have to start storing the scrub brushes inside the dishwasher. I’m almost certain she won’t be able to figure out how to get into that.
