You’d think we’d learn after a while...just don’t bother until the snow plows are finished.

To waste, to destroy, our natural resources, to skin and exhaust the land instead of using it so as to increase its usefulness, will result in undermining, in the days of our children, the very prosperity which we ought by right to hand down to them amplified and developed. ~Theodore Roosevelt

Lotsa, lotsa snow out in my driveway this morning. More snow there than just about anyplace else, in fact. It all blew out of my next door neighbor’s driveway and found an unfilled niche in mine. Lovely drifts. And what the drifting couldn’t quite fill in, the snowplow did. Surely most snowplow drivers don’t laugh maniacally as they rumble down the streets socking everyone in. Do they feel remorse? Nah, probably not. Just those of us standing there with a shovel, and a semi-cleared driveway, feel that bone deep agony when the snow plow drives past and shoves 3 feet of snow back into it.
