Cider Press Hill

Mickle Street

I hopped across the pond this morning to catch up with the Old Grey Poet. That’s always a savory excursion, any time of day, but especially so first thing in the morning with a good hot cup of coffee in hand. If you have never visited, do so.

Having missed the last couple of days, I was delighted to discover his Sunday’s entry, which included a poem, a photograph, a song, and a couple of lovely links—one of them to Walt Whitman’s Wardrobe. All by itself, that page is good for many minutes of fun, poking around in...Walt Whitman’s wardrobe, but it’s also part of a larger site called the Mickle Street Review, out of Rutgers University—an Electronic Journal of Whitman and American Studies. While that might sound as dry as a bone, it surely isn’t. Who ever put that site together has imagination and a tasty sense of humor. Go have some fun poking around in Walt Whitman’s Wardrobe.
