LOL!
What kind of magic are you wielding this morning, eh? No problems posting? It likes you better than me.
Actually, a followup, saying I’m posting from home under in Netscape 7.1, didn’t seem to go through. No indication of a problem, just didn’t show up.
[this is the first trial of this message]
Another note… The link below the “Submit” and “Preview” buttons for the comment-writing box that I’m using right now shows “Cider Hill Press” as the text, and “http://ciderpresshill.com/index.php/” as its content. But it sure doesn’t send me where I’d expect such a link to go.
Just FYI, before I leave the computer to head for work.
Fixed the link. Thanks for telling me.NO, it certainly wasn’t going where it was supposed to go.
I don’t seem to be having any problems at all!
Well, count yourself one of the favored few. There is apparently no rhyme or reason to this. Like N, a few are having posts simply not show up. Others are getting messages that they are blacklisted.
Might as well test my prowess from work, using IE 6.
And speaking of fixing links, I would have though you, of all people, would have switched the one to my blog from .com to .org. :-S
You know, I know that I did somewhere along the line. Must be when I quit using blogrolling.com and snagged an older copy of my blogroll, the .com crept back in. Fixed that too.
Okay. I think the disappearing and/or blacklisted comments are fixed.
I only had a problem when I tried to post links to “jay allen” & “adam kalsey”. They were blacklisted for some reason.
I think because there are dates in the URLs and the blacklist filter seems to be pretty sensitive. There were a couple of blacklisted items with the date 2004 in it. Shouldn’t have nixed the urls, but did. Similar problem with a couple of visitors yesterday whose domains have a snippet of a blacklisted term. They were denied access, too. The blacklist shouldn’t parse out partial words or numbers from whole domains or urls. Not sure how to deal with that.

Huh. Took three tries to get this to post. What am I overlooking?
