To waste, to destroy, our natural resources, to skin and exhaust the land instead of using it so as to increase its usefulness, will result in undermining, in the days of our children, the very prosperity which we ought by right to hand down to them amplified and developed. ~Theodore Roosevelt

Check out John Kerry’s website. He has a pretty nifty idea going there, asking us to co-sponsor a Children’s Health Care Plan bill that he’ll introduce when the new Congress reconvenes in January. As he says in the accompanying video, we can’t lose the momentum that we’ve built. Time to roll up our sleeves and get to work. No time to let the other guys think we’ve been silenced. We still need to be united. Let the Repubs trash the bill and try to explain why the richest nation in the world leaves 8 million children in health care limbo and they’re not going to lift a finger to put a stop to it. Let them try to square it with their family values, in the court of public opinion. Please sign up to co-sponsor the bill.
