The other way to cut energy consumption is for the electricity to go off for most of the day. I sure don’t know what’s going on out there, but the power has been intermittent at best and off for about 4 hours late this morning at worst. It seems to be back on again—for the moment. Even the local radio station has been knocked off the air.
Oh well. I went shopping over the border. Three new lamp shades and there goes whatever I save in electricity conservation for the next several months. But I’ll save in style.
