Ugh

The left side of my face is nicely swollen this morning. I’m kind of chipmunky looking. I think there is a root-canal in my near future. I’m not smiling. Well, it hurts to smile, but besides that. Why do we have to start falling apart after 40? Huh?

You don’t really want an answer to that question, do you?

The good news about root canals is that the dentists who specialize in them are really, really good and make the procedure itself a real breeze.  The bad news about root canals is that you have to pay a pretty penny for that high-quality treatment.

Oh, I’ve had one before. It was painless and didn’t bother me. But it HURTS NOW! And the check writing pen is all a tremble. It’s always something.
