I used to pay for the inside maintenance when my phone was with the the telephone company. But now that I’m with the cable company I don’t appear to have that insurance. I don’t remember now if I asked for it, if it just wasn’t available since they aren’t a phone company or what. In any case, too bad for me, looks like. When I get phone service again, I’ll inquire.
After several tries, lots of being left on hold for 15 minutes, and a lot of cell phone recharging, I finally got through to a live voice and scheduled a house call for tomorrow. Sometime between noon and 4PM. Love those windows. I sure hope the problem is outside somewhere.

Are you paying that “Inside Maintenance” fee every month? If so, take advantage of it. I had a jack fixed and new jacks put in all over the house for no add’l charge a few months ago because I’d been paying that fee.
