I started the cats early and often so they would get used to it and now, as long as we pick the right time, they stretch out and (almost) enjoy it since they know a treat is coming after.
The bunny is another story. Those damn hind legs are like boxing with a kangaroo…
I’m not sure why the “Remember” function isn’t working, Linkmeister. It probably has something to do with running more than one domain with the software and I must have switched something off somewhere. And it’s sort of like groping around in the dark trying to find it. I’ll keep tinkering. It doesn’t remember me, either. :(
I’m lucky with my pups. They both have light colored toenails so it’s easy to see where the quick ends. I’ve only had a problem with that once...when someone moved at exactly the wrong time. But it wasn’t serious. Cats on the other hand...whew. Get the nail clippers out and it’s the cat from hell routine.
Ro, I had a bunny once...he was such a sweet boy. But wow, the first time I got kicked, I knew I’d been kicked. He wasn’t much into having his nails done either. Or his ears cleaned. Those hind legs are amazingly strong.
Funny cause I always used to do Georgie’s (my cat!!) and while it was not his favorite thing in the world, he was pretty calm while I did it. Sometimes, we had a wee disagreement over it, but not generally. However, if he SAW the clippers before I captured him, forget it...he would take off and hide!

I won’t even try it with my dog, although that’s more out of fear that I’ll cut too close to the quick than that Tigger will claw/chew me to death.
Why does your “Remember” function not fulfill that function?
