E-Mail spammers are growing too clever. This morning there was a piece of spam in my inbox with the title: “Roberts cited Planned Parenthood v. Casey, the 1992 Supreme Court decision that affirmed Roe, as the starting point in his deliberations if a case challenging the landmark ruling came before him.”

Because I receive politically oriented mail from a couple of different mailing lists, that one looked genuine. But no. It was about lowering my monthly overhead. Notice how the subject line and the content have so much to do with each other. Not. But it effectively foiled my spam filter. Spammers and deep, dark dungeons were made for each other.

Ahhh....the carpenter just showed up on my roof, outside my window, and nearly gave me heart failure. I sort of expected him to announce himself at the front door first. Heh. Good thing I was all ready for the day before he arrived.
