While I was out this morning, I pulled up at a red light, behind a black Ford F350 pick up truck—which is probably one of the largest vehicles on the road next to a Hummer. Sheesh, the bumper was almost level with my eyeballs. So it would have been hard to miss the color coordinated bumper sticker on the tailgate. It was carefully applied on the left hand side, right under the F350 characters. This is a reasonable facsimile.

Now, this truck was tricked out in all the bells and whistles and lights, with fancy white mud flaps, all kinds of shiny chrome adornments, the requisite NRA sticker and one of these decals on the back window. Frankly, around here, it’s the kind of truck one is apt to see with a “Bubba1” vanity plate on the back. So, to say I was a little surprised to see the sticker so prominently displayed would be quite an understatement.

I gave the driver a little toot on my horn and gave him a thumbs up out my window. He responded in kind with a wide grin. It made my day.
