I must be the last person on the internets to learn about BlogExplosion, if the number of blogs listed there is anything to judge by. Two of the blogs on my sidebar mentioned it today, one not favorably and the other sort of favorably. So, of course, I had to go look. It seems the whole purpose behind BlogExplosion is to hop up a member’s hits. Which is all fine and stuff. Having never gotten more than 115 hits a day (and many, many fewer now that I’ve moved), I don’t really know what it’s like to have hundreds a day. I’m not sure that I’d like having hundreds of people cruising through my life each day. This quiet little corner of the internets that I’ve staked out is a pretty comfortable place.

But if you’re in the mood to browse through a lot of blogs for some good new reads, BlogExplosion looks like the place to go. They’ve made it easy and I’ve already run across a few that I’ll want to look in on from time to time.
