So today was Black Friday, the busiest shopping day of the year. The day when retailers’ bottom lines are supposed to move from red to black. Last night I browsed one of the ‘official’ Black Friday web sites to see what kinds of specials and super sales some of the retailers are offering this year. There were some substantial savings to be had today. For the briefest moment, I considered being at Best Buy for their 5AM opening just to see how many other crazy people were in line waiting to get in. But, of course, I didn’t. I can’t think of anything I’d like badly enough to be at a 5AM store opening. But it would have been interesting. Has anyone else started and finished their Christmas shopping today? Good for you if you have. I haven’t even started yet. Probably won’t for another week or two, either.
