Belated White Christmas

Sometime in the night, the weather bureau decided to issue a winter storm warning. They were really serious this time. It has been snowing all day and it’s really piling up out there. Not exactly the day to be out and about. Which is fine. I announced that before we could go anywhere, the driveway had to be shoveled first. The lad shrugged and disappeared back into his cave.

The closest I’ve come to shoveling is looking out the window thinking that I ought to.

I’m glad that it’s Sunday *and* vacation.

It’s very pretty out there. But I’m perfectly happy to stay inside looking out at all the prettiness. Between catnaps. Ahhh...catching up on all my lost sleep. The ideal way to spend a snowy day.
