Bah humbug?

I noticed tonight, while out and about, that very few homes have any Christmas lights or decorations up. In this town, that’s way unusual. Ordinarily the place is awash in lights and color the weekend after Thanksgiving. It’s almost depressing to see such a dearth. Has anyone else noticed the same thing?
